Children's Swimming

Little swimmers (3-4)

Focus on teaching your child new skills such as water confidence & how to move in water. Inro to being prone and supine


Level 1

For children who can take instruction, with the ability to kick on front and back with 2 boards. Must be able to get their face wet and blow bubbles


Level 2

For children with the ability to kick 5m on front with 1 board putting face down. Must be able to kick 3m on them with 1 board.


Level 3

For children with the ability to kick 5m with or without an aid put face in the water and stand in 1m depth of water


Level 4

For children with ability to kick 9m on front and back with an arm action and have an understanding of front crawl breathing.

Level 5

For children with ability to swim 9m freestyle & backstroke, knowledge of breaststroke & tread water for 30sec


Level 6

For children with the ability to swim 9m freestyle & backstroke, knowledge of breaststroke & tread water for 30secs.


Level 7

For swimmers able to swim 25m freestyle, backstroke & have an understanding of breaststroke and butterfly. Be able to tread water


Level 8

For swimmers able to swim 50m freestyle, backstroke & breaststroke and have good understanding of butterfly.


Rookie Lifeguard

Rookie lifeguards will develop skills & knowledge in water safety, rescue, resuscitation and lifesaving skills.
